I haven't used Paul Mitchel in years. I have long, colored hair, that was getting dryer and dryer to the point of breakage. None of my "great "shampoos or conditioners were working any more. Tried the newer expensive shampoos and conditioners that claim to make your hair healthy, but if you don't continue to use them, your hair immediately goes back to bad, and my hair always felt like something was on it. After 1 use of this shampoo and conditioner my hair felt healthy again. It didn't feel coated, it felt clean. It was easier to dry and style. After a few more uses I will test it to see if my hair still feels good with another shampoo. If not, then this is just another coverup, not actually making my hair better. That is the real test. One shampoo with another good product should not make your hair feel dry if your other product was actually helping your hair. So after a while I will update. But for right now, this is better than I have experienced in years.
