Pretty good cutter for the price. You can exchange it at any retailer listed on their website under the warranty. Stays sharp and the double blades stay close to one another, my criticism of all Xi models from Xikar. My complaints are in the fit and finish. It has irregularities in the face of the metal (micro pits). These micro pits do not affect performance but are unsightly. All of the printed models look terrible and are obviously fake. Those models include carbon fiber, burlwood, and all of the camo. The printing makes a beautiful cutter somewhat embarrassing to use in public. I have a dupont, xikar, and palio cutter(s). This is my go to cutter most of the time. The non Xi double guillotine xikars are comparable but are more expensive and have a better fit and finish. One can also consider Brizard as well at this price range.
