This type of exfoliating gel is very common in Asia. Place a thin layer on your face, and slowly rub off the dead skin. It'll happen in a matter of seconds. Although it's extremely gentle and leaves nearly zero redness, I recommend staying out of the sun as much as possible and using it only 1-2 times a week. It blows my mind that it's not available in the US. I discovered this in a resort spa in Atami, Japan and stocked up while I was there (very pricey).
