Due to chronic sleep issues, I recently invested in a Mediflow pillow. I purchased their high end model that has a water base (that is adjustable for your comfort) and has a down top. I have since purchased them for everyone in the family. My daughter says she has never slept as well as she does on her pillow. My husband concurs. I sleep better on this pillow, on nights where I sleep, than I have ever before and sleep more often that I used to. If you have sleep issues, consider this as your next investment. At $100+ each, they are pricey but I think they are worth every penny. Physically wellbeing, overall health and personal sanity require sleep so for me, these purchases were a no brainer and may turn out to be some of the best money I have ever spent. I chose the down model as the down will not compress and ball up (becoming lumpy) over time. I purchased the quilted top model and purchased the quilted cases for them as well. I think it is important to note that my husband, daughter and I each had different amounts of water for optimum comfort so we noted how much water we put in each pillow. Thus, when we empty the water out ever 6 months and refill, we will know exactly how much to put in the pillow for each person.
