Everybody has their weird aspects and one of mine is about toothpaste. I want Crest with Scope. I want my own tube. I do NOT want to share toothpaste with YOU. I want a small tube so it stays neat without my having to fool around with it.
So when I go to buy toothpaste, which is fairly often, I am on a mission to buy a small tube, or even several small tubes. What do I find? I find a small tube of toothpaste with a travel toothbrush and a minute bottle of Scope for $2.49. I have tried going that route, but then I have travel toothbrushes piling up everywhere and I am out of Scope.
What else do I find? I find Crest RED GEL for 99 cents,so I try that. Yeech. Ever tried to brush your teeth with Red Gel? It is gross. Or, I find that the competitor has small tubes of toothpaste on sale. I try that about once and remember why I do not use that OTHER brand.
So, I tried looking for small tubes of toothpaste on Amazon. HOOOOOORAH, they have it. But, Oh my gosh...THIRTY SIX TUBES! Well, maybe that is not such a bad thing...for 2-3 years, mind you YEARS, I will not have to ding around looking for that toothpaste I want. And then, if they are still difficult to find in 2 or 3 years, I suspect I can go back to Amazon and buy another case.
Toothpaste lasts pretty much forever so I am not worried about it being stale or going out of date. I could store it in the freezer, but it seems a waste of freezer space, so I will just use along and be happy with my own little tube of toothpaste.
I gave this only 4 Stars because this case is pretty pricey...at least by Arizona standards on this date. If I were to be really industrious, I could go out of my way and buy this at WallMart for 99 cents a tube. But then, that is the whole point, it is out of the way. It would cost me in gasoline what I would save by running to WallMart. But, others go there regularly and it is on their beaten path; hence, the 4 stars.
We all have heard the benefits of Crest so I will not bore you to tears by going into that!
